Apotheosis history. Your history. Now inworld.

Every week the gods grant you a single votive - a small blessing to place upon one picture in the Reliquary. And because a new week has just turned, today, Sunday, your fresh votive is waiting. Go spend it. The card is up.

What a votive is
In the Reliquary, we don't just look at each other's memories, we honour them. A votive is your way of saying "this one matters." When you bestow it on an image, you light a candle for it: the picture is marked as Blessed, its offering lifted a little closer to the divine. The most-blessed images rise into the Blessed collection for everyone to find, and over time the gods themselves take notice of what the community holds sacred.

You get one votive per week, renewed every Sunday (SLT). It's a small, deliberate act. You can't bless everything, so bless the one that moves you most.

How to use it

1. Open the Reliquary → Offerings.
2. Find the "✵ Use your votive" card, it gathers last week's offerings, the fresh pictures waiting to be blessed.
3. Open the one that speaks to you and bestow your votive on it.

That's it. (A note: you can't bless your own pictures or the official Apotheosis ones. A votive is a gift you give to someone else's moment.)

And yes: it brings you GoGs
Taking part is rewarded. Every votive you bestow earns you 200 GoGs. One blessing a week, 200 GoGs a week, for doing something that makes the whole Reliquary richer. Skip a week and the votive is gone. It pays, quite literally, to show up.

So light one today. Somewhere in last week's offerings is a memory worth honouring. The gods are listening.

Last night, in the candlelit hush of the ruins, something ancient stirred awake. A good crowd gathered for The Reliquary Revealed and what they came to witness was no ordinary unveiling. Amid the broken columns and drifting light, the doors of the Reliquary swung open for the very first time.

Call it a new feature if you like, but that would be selling it short. The Reliquary is a temple for our memories. A living gallery holding over thirteen hundred pictures from almost ten years of Apotheosis history. Every night we've shared, every face, every moment that mattered, gathered at last into one place that remembers.

And it doesn't ask you to simply look. The Reliquary is built to be lived in:

• Make an offering: bring your own pictures into the archive, where each one is precious and findable, seen not by thousands of strangers but by the people who matter.
• "I'm in this": find yourself in a picture and claim your place in the story; recognise the people you know and tag them (their name stays hidden until they agree).
• Build a shrine: gather your favourite images, set them to music, and share them with the one you love, or with everyone.
• Bestow a votive: bless the images that move you most, and earn GoGs for taking part.
• Play: the Reliquary is no solemn museum. Match memories, solve the puzzles, race the sigils in the Games hub, or fire up the Forge to turn a picture into a meme.
• Take it inworld: soon every memory can drift across a display in your own home, your club, your parcel.

As the night deepened, the relics themselves came loose. Guests played The Drift: chasing luminous memory-panes as they floated through the ruins, reaching out to catch the ones they belonged to and claim them on the spot. Laughter, near-misses, and more than a few triumphant "that's me!" echoed off the old stones.

And for the truly fortunate: the evening saw the release of an ultra-rare trading card! A prize now scattered somewhere in the collections of a very lucky few.

The Reliquary is open now, and from here it's yours. What it becomes, a dusty cabinet of forgotten pictures, or a living place of joy we all share, is entirely up to us.

On Sunday, July 26th, the ancient ruins of Warlor at Apotheosis became the stage for a truly magical evening: Wicked Wishes, produced and hosted by Chrissy, invited guests to send their hopes and dreams into the night sky on floating lanterns.

Each visitor could write a wish on a lantern, dedicate it to one of the gods of Apotheosis, and release it to drift high above the ruins. Those who chose to share their wishes made them visible for all to read while others kept theirs a quiet secret between themselves and their chosen deity.

By the end of the night, more than 30 lanterns were glowing above the ruins and they will remain there for a few more days. So if curiosity gets the better of you, stop by and see what wishes the community sent to the heavens.

Chrissy not only hosted the event but also crafted every single lantern by hand and provided the music for the evening, an enchanting night in which many wishes came true.

Only one wish, alas, remained unfulfilled: a certain anonymous guest asked (once again) for a sigil. The gods, it seems, are still not amused.

Yesterday, Apotheosis brought its six-week football betting spectacle "Fleetor's Goal Rush" to a triumphant close with an event fittingly titled Final Climax.

The celebration kicked off at 12:00 SLT, when HH and JoJo gathered with several of the game's winners for a warm-up ahead of the evening's headline act. Then, at 1:00 pm SLT sharp, the wonderful Nonah Reeves took the stage for a one-hour concert. A huge crowd of fans and Apotheosis regulars filled Apotheosis Park, which for the past six weeks had been a mecca not only for football fans.

The concert was fantastic. The band Sweet Harmony turned out in full force, and Igi's legendary guitar solos once again electrified the crowd. But above it all stood Nonah, one of Second Life's most extraordinary vocalists, and the audience went wild.

Afterwards, JoJo took over the turntables and got everyone going with songs perfectly suited to the occasion, opening (of course) with "Viva España" in honour of the football World Cup champions.

By just before 3:00 pm SLT, the moment had arrived. Every prize winner was on hand to collect their trophy. Jack claimed a remarkable double, taking both the solo title and, alongside crewmates Deep and Victoria, the crew title with "Erosia's Folly." Victoria added a solo runner-up finish to her crew victory, while Mo, competing for KMG Legends, secured third place after dominating much of the tournament.

A fantastic evening, And by the end, everyone agreed: in two years' time, when the football European Championship comes around, they'll all meet again for "Fleetor's Goal Rush 2028."
