ADULT HEDONISTIC COMMUNITY APOTHEOSIS Sign In

About Us

Apotheosis was founded in February 2017 with a single purpose: to connect people in a virtual world. From the outset, that included sex as a way of expressing ourselves. But it never stopped there. Innovative events and activities that pressed against the boundaries of what SecondLife had ever attempted became one of our signature qualities from the earliest months. They remain so today.

Over the years, countless hands have shaped what Apotheosis has become; each newcomer leaves a small trace, and the place is the sum of those traces. The duality of carnal sexuality wrapped in casual serenity is what we keep in mind, at a place that meets human desire in a virtual world on every level.

We believe that pleasure is not an indulgence to be rationed, but the very substance of a virtual world built not for escapism, but for extension. We believe that an adult sim is defined less by its adult activities than by the adult mindset it asks of its members. Respect, tolerance, and liberalism are expected here. When the moment requires it, demanded.

We are a community that takes hedonism seriously, not as an excuse for thoughtlessness, but as a commitment to honest desire and the freedom to pursue it without shame. Some of our finest moments live in these moments that happen only in places where people feel safe enough to be themselves.

Despite all the freedom we celebrate, we have shaped Apotheosis as a place for human and adult-looking avatars. Not from any judgment of demons, lycans, or furries (they have their own corners of SecondLife, and beautiful ones), but from a wish to preserve a particular kind of immersion, one that holds to a single shared aesthetic. We embrace diversity in every direction that matters, and we ask, in return, that you honour this one theme. Our rules are not here to limit you. They are here to support the experience.

Consent is non-negotiable. Curiosity is celebrated. Pretension is gently mocked. We are Adults, in the most expansive sense of the word, who choose to spend some fraction of our finite time in a world made entirely of imagination, and we think that is a magnificent thing to do.

What members say

Apotheosis gives me the freedom to be myself within a community that is welcoming and accepts people for who they are. Through light hearted fun, crazy antics (no names mentioned ;) ) and excellent events Apotheosis has so much to offer the right people who are willing to buy into the ethos of the island. HH has done an excellent job in building this beautiful place that I now call home.
— Jack Reacher
Apotheosis is a place for socializing and connecting with people in a no stress environment where all are accepted and welcomed. The events are always fun, and the special ways that draw you to the sim make you want to be there. But most of all it's the friendship, banter, flirting and people that keep you coming back.
— Jamee
The atmosphere that comes along with those that enjoy liked minded folks.
— Kevin Adams
There's always something to do or someone around who is happy to hang out. The events are always flirty and playful and the folks can get wickedly silly! And oh, so sexy.

Apotheosis is THE most social place I've encountered in SL and I have encountered a LOT of places in SL! Connections can be casual or committed but whatever your preference you can find it in this community.
— Kam Alpha
Apotheosis is a truly special place. HH has created more than a beautiful sim; he has built a warm, welcoming community where friendships flourish and people feel at home. My lovely friend Witz (HH) is a perfect example of that spirit...kind, caring, and always a joy to be around. Apotheosis has given me wonderful memories, laughter, and friendships I treasure.
— JoJo Wiggle
A place to relax, catchup with friends and socialise with like minded people.

I just dig it. It's inviting, friendly, fun, groovy.... all the things.
— Piglet
For me, Apotheosis is a a truly inspiring and innovative place. Many people find their way to this sim but usually it's the best that stay. This is why I feel blessed to be part of an outstanding community.
— Heidewitzka Himmel
There are games to be played; places to explore; events to attend; gogs to get; and familiar friends with whom to share them all. (...except for the gogs. Stay away from my gogs!!)
— TJ Asp
Apotheosis stands out because it understands mood, detail, and atmosphere. It feels less like a space and more like an experience.
— Mr. Lambert
The place that made me stay, probably forever♥

Apotheosis isn't "just another club". It truly is a community, I am proud to be a member of this community now for over 4 years. I have seen it grow and flourish...it just keeps getting better. I can't wait to see what the "evil genius" HH has in store for us!
— Xylina Preiss
The wonderful people you meet. The amazing events you get to experience. The greatness of it all!
— ς σ я α ς я υ м в
I've met some of the nicest people here. People who became real friends, not just names on a screen. The chats, the parties, the sexy after parties, the games and gadgets... Here I can be silly, I can be sexy, I can be a total geek. You show up as yourself and that's more than enough.
— Chrissy Nova
An amazing group of people. Welcoming, sexy and funny as hell !!
— Sage D
Apotheosis has been my second home for over 6 years and counting. A family like no other!

— Ðeeρ ßяaηωeη
Apotheosis is a place where people come together to socialize, relax, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere free from judgement. It is about meaningful conversations, lively parties, and the excitement of meeting new and intriguing people from all walks of life. Apotheosis represents friendship, connection, and a community where everyone can simply be themselves while sharing unforgettable moments.
— Winter Everfrost
Apotheosis will always hold a special place in my heart. What started as a place for fun and adventure became a home filled with amazing people, meaningful friendships, and unforgettable memories. Even after leaving, I found myself returning to the warmth and connection I felt there. Best of all, it led me to Jonnathan—the love of my life—and for that, it will always be part of my story.
— Victoria

Apotheosis did not build itself. Behind the events, the games, the gadgets, the parties, and the thousand small details that make this island feel like home, there are three people. They argue, they laugh, they surprise each other, and somehow it all comes together into something none of them could have made alone.

Meet The Keepers.

HH

The Janitor

Heidewitzka Himmel - HH to everyone who knows him - is the man behind the curtain. The builder, the scripter, the creator of things that should not exist but somehow do. The Wheel of Fortune, Eddie, the GoG system, the Sigils, the trading card emitters, the Musical Bingo, the D'nD alarm - and the full story behind this island. If it makes you wonder how someone even thought of that, HH probably built it.
He calls himself the Janitor. He is not joking, and he is not being modest. He just knows that someone has to keep the place running, fix the things that break, and build the things that haven't been imagined yet. That someone is him.
His ideas are brilliant, his gadgets are ridiculous in the best possible way, and his commitment to this island is absolute. He is also the host behind some of Apotheosis' most beloved events - the Magic Matchmaker and the Divine Comedy among them - with a gift for keeping a room entertained and a crowd on their toes.

Jojo

The Party Whisperer, The Alchemist & Chief Banana

Jojo Wiggle sees a space and imagines what it could become. She is the one who transforms the island for events - who knows exactly when to go elegant and when to go completely, gloriously silly. Sometimes in the same evening.
Her parties have a way of feeling inevitable, like they could not have been any other way. That is not an accident. That is Jojo. She also knows how to set the mood with exactly the right music at exactly the right moment - the kind of instinct you cannot teach.
Together with Chrissy she is one half of Double Trouble - a combination that has been responsible for more memorable Apotheosis moments than anyone cares to count.

Chrissy

The Architect of Mischief & Ms. Know-It-All

Chrissy Nova is the one with the lists. The schedules, the plans, the event calendar, the mental map of who needs to be where and when. If Apotheosis runs smoothly, there is a good chance Chrissy made sure it did.
But do not let the clipboard fool you. She is also the one who decorated that room, scripted that small gadget - yes, including the talking vibrator - came up with that idea nobody else would have dared suggest. She is the bridge between HH's brilliant mind and the people who enjoy what he builds - the one who explains, connects, socialises, and makes everyone feel at home.
She has a talent for mischief, a love for the erotic and the playful, and a gift for setting the mood with music that makes you forget you had somewhere else to be. Creative, organised, provocative, and utterly unpredictable.
The other half of Double Trouble. Handle with care. Or not.

The Pulse

Apotheosis has a sound. It is not one thing - it shifts with the night, the mood, the crowd. Sometimes it pulls you to the dance floor before you even realise you have stood up. Sometimes it wraps around you like something warm and familiar. Sometimes it makes you close your eyes and just... feel. Behind that sound are, next to HH, Jojo and Chrissy, a few people who know this island, know its people, and know exactly what a room, or any space, needs at any given moment.
Kevin, Xylina, Piglet and Abby are the ones who build a set that takes you somewhere, who keep the energy exactly where it needs to be, and who make dancing feel like the only sensible thing to do.
And then there is Nonah. Whether she performs with her band or steps up alone, her voice fills the room in a way that stops conversations mid-sentence. Lovesongs that make you ache, rock ballads that make you soar. She is one of those rare performers who makes every person in the room feel like she is singing just for them.

History

Apotheosis was never built by these people alone. Over the years, many hands and hearts helped shape this island into what it is today.

It started with a dream and a handful of people who believed in it. Katty was one of them - standing alongside HH from the very beginning, when this place was still more idea than island. Together they laid the foundations of something neither of them could have fully imagined at the time.

As the community grew, so did the people who shaped it. Masana left her mark on both the layout of the island and the spirit of the community that gathered here - her influence still felt in the way this place breathes and moves. Phili, Alesandra, Alexxa and others contributed their energy, their creativity, and their care to a place that was still finding its form.

Some stayed. Some moved on. All of them mattered. Their names are woven into the walls of this island even if their paths eventually led elsewhere.

We are grateful for every one of them.

GoGs

Gifts of the Gods

The gods of Apotheosis have seen it all. Temples, orgies, karaoke. So to spice up their eternal existence, they created GoGs, Gifts of the Gods.
GoGs are the unofficial currency of divine approval. You earn them for doing things on the island - and sometimes for doing absolutely nothing at all. Think of them as experience points, cosmic gold stars, or the gods' way of saying: nice job, mortal. Have a shiny.
Once you receive a GoG, it is yours forever. You can spend them, but your lifetime total never goes down. Not even if you anger Aetherion, seduce Erosia, and crash Zephyros' temple all in one night.

How to Earn Them

Just Be Here

Doing absolutely nothing has never paid so well. Stay on the island for 30 consecutive minutes and the gods reward your presence with 100 GoGs. No dancing, no clicking, no seduction required. Just exist. If you crash, disconnect, or teleport away you have to start over. The gods are merciless. Like WiFi on a rainy day.

Spin the Wheel

Once per day, spin the Wheel of Fortune in the cafe. You must have been on the island for at least 5 minutes first. Wear the group tag or no tag at all. Land on anything from 20 to 500 GoGs. Land on 10 and the gods take pity - you get a second spin.

Scrub the Stain

Every few hours a mysterious stain appears on the cafe floor or the bistro floor. Nobody knows what it is. We suspect cheese fondue, divine smegma, or espresso from Aetherion's dark roast. Click the nearby metal bucket and scrub for 10 full minutes. The cafe rewards your humiliation with 250 GoGs, the bistro with 100. Yes, on your knees. In public. Leave before the stain vanishes and someone else can swoop in and finish your work. Scrubbing is a competition. Welcome to Apotheosis.

Hunt the Treasure Chest

Somewhere on the island, a treasure chest appears. It might be behind a rock, under a bridge, or sitting in plain sight like a divine pinata. Check the sign near the landing spot - blue means nothing is out, yellow means the hunt is on. Get within 5 meters and click it before anyone else does. The reward is anywhere from 100 to 500 GoGs depending on the gods' mood. Everyone else? Better luck next time.

The Newspaper

Seven newspapers are placed around the island. Most of the time they are just newspapers. But a few times each day, one of them quietly transforms into something more.
When a newspaper is ready to give GoGs, the buy price disappears and a hand icon appears instead. Get within 5 meters and touch it before anyone else does. The first person to touch it receives between 50 and 250 GoGs. The special edition only stays active for 15 minutes before it vanishes - touched or not. It pays to wander.

The Slot Machine

For 10 L$ you get a shot at the slot machine in the cafe. The jackpot grows with every spin. Two matching symbols wins you 10% of the jackpot in GoGs. Three matching symbols and you take it all. Consider it a love letter to the island - entirely optional, entirely appreciated.

GoG Trivia

Occasionally a trivia question appears on your screen. Wear your group tag to receive them. Answer correctly and earn 20 GoGs. Some answers can be found by looking around the island. Others require a sharper mind. The gods love a smart mortal.

Bring a Friend

Know someone who belongs here? Whisper the island's name in their ear. If they arrive and give you the credit, the gods reward you with 500 GoGs. Find the referral board in the GoG Store.

Erosia's Journey

Every trading card you successfully add to your Erosia's Journey album earns you GoGs - either 50, 75, or 100 depending on the card's rarity. Complete the entire album and you will have collected 4,800 GoGs in total.

Musical Bingo

Every song you check off earns you 100 GoGs. Fill a complete line and receive 1,000 GoGs. Fill the entire card and the gods reward you with 2,000 GoGs. A full card adds up to 4,600 GoGs in total.

Beyond the Island

Being part of Apotheosis goes beyond the island. Registered members who explore the website may find that small moments of connection and devotion are quietly rewarded with GoGs. Reading a page, completing your profile, making a connection - it all counts for something. Pleasant surprises await in MyApotheosis, under My Path.

Keeping Score

Your Total Score

The grand sum of every GoG you have ever earned. It never goes down. It is your permanent record of divine favor - like karma, but shinier.

Your Three Month Score

The sum of all GoGs earned in the current month and the two months before it. This is the score the gods watch. It determines whether you rise to the Divine Elite or stay there once you have arrived.

Your GoG Surplus

The number of GoGs you can safely spend without risking your Elite status in the upcoming score calculation. Spend wisely. Or recklessly. The gods respect both.

Tracking Your GoGs

Ask Eddie at any time by typing Eddie, gogs in local chat. He will whisper your score back to you privately. Add a # to make it public - perfect for flexing. Or flirting. You can also click the public GoG Meter at the cafe. Or check them in MyApotheosis - available to registered members.

Can I transfer my GoGs?

Right now your GoGs belong to you and you alone - earned, stored, and celebrated in your name. Transferring them to others is not yet possible. But Apotheosis is a living, breathing place and the gods have a long history of introducing things nobody saw coming. What the future holds for GoGs, only they know. Watch this space.

A Final Thought

Apotheosis is not about GoGs. It never was. It is about connection. Sensuality. Playfulness. Adventure. Dancing half-naked in forgotten temples, whispering secrets in cafes, and stumbling into friendship or trouble when you least expect it. But GoGs are clever. They sneak in. They give you a reason to stay a little longer, talk to a stranger, cheer for someone else's luck or groan dramatically about your own. People gather around the Wheel not just to spin, but to share the moment.
Every GoG you earn is a moment shared. A little story forged. Maybe even a friendship begun.
The gods are watching. But so are your fellow mortals. And frankly, they are the best part.

Sigils

Marks of the Divine

Each of the twelve gods of Apotheosis is tied to a specific place on the island - a spot of concentrated divine power known as their sacred locus. When a god notices you there, they may choose to bestow their sigil upon you.
A sigil is a divine symbol that appears above your head, glowing for a brief moment before settling into your possession. It is not a reward you can claim on demand. It is a mark of divine attention - the god's way of saying: I see you. I choose you. Carry my mark. Each sigil represents the nature and power of the god who gave it. They are said to create a deep bond between mortal and deity, and those who receive one often describe a sudden stillness in the air, a warmth, a sense of being seen by something ancient and powerful.
There are twelve sigils in total. Collecting all twelve is one of the rarest achievements on the island.

The Sigil HUD

To track your collection, pick up the Sigil HUD at the landing area or at the cafe. Wear it and it will show you all twelve gods - each one an empty circle waiting to be filled. When a god bestows their sigil upon you, their circle fills in. A quiet, satisfying way to watch your divine favor grow.

The Twelve Sigils

Zephyros
Revelry, passion, and the sacred fire that turns restraint into desire. An invitation, not a permission.
Aetherion
Power and will. Not a gift. A mark of his attention.
Erosia
The courage to feel, to ache, to want. Carry it gently.
Regalia
The hearth, the bond, the keeper of what belongs together.
Oceanor
Respect, patience, and awareness of the sea's power.
Harvestia
Quiet labor and the promise that follows patience.
Forgeon
The will to endure the fire. Nothing of worth is made without scars.
Fleetor
Momentum. Those who bear his mark must keep moving.
Warlor
Bold and unforgiving. Be ready to fight - or be broken.
Stratara
Clarity over victory. She favors those who think before they act.
Solaron
Balance, insight, and the demand to stand in the open.
Lunara
The thrill of pursuit. Nothing escapes her for long.

Curious about the gods behind the sigils? Their stories, their powers, and their place in the pantheon are waiting for you here.

Where the Gods Find You

The gods do not share their secrets easily. What is known is that each god has a place on the island they call their own - somewhere that reflects who they are. Zephyros favors pleasure and movement. Oceanor is drawn to the water. Warlor lingers where things have broken and burned. The rest you will have to discover for yourself.
Spend time across the island. Be present. Be patient. The gods are watching.

How It Works

You cannot force a sigil. You can only be present. Spend time at a god's sacred spot and their sigil may appear to you. When it does, click it to receive it. The sigil will come with a personal message from the god - words that reflect their nature and what they expect of those who carry their mark. Read it. They mean it.

Eddie & The Wheel

Two Fixtures of the Cafe

At the heart of the island sits the cafe. And at the heart of the cafe sit two things that every regular knows well: the Wheel of Fortune, and Eddie.
One will test your luck. The other will whisper your fate. Both will make you feel very much at home.

The Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune has been spinning at Apotheosis since the early days. It lives in the cafe, glowing with quiet promise, and every day it draws a crowd of hopeful mortals who all believe - truly believe - that today is their day.
You get one spin per day. To use it you must have been on the island for at least 5 minutes. Make sure you are wearing the group tag or no tag at all, or the Wheel will ignore you entirely.
The Wheel can reward you anywhere from 20 to 500 GoGs. If you land on 10, the gods take pity on you and grant a second spin. Landing on 20 means you have hit the lowest possible reward the Wheel can offer. Welcome to the club.
People gather around the Wheel not just to spin, but to share the moment. They bond over bad luck, cheer for rare 500s, and groan together at the cruel indifference of fate. It is, in its own way, one of the most social spots on the island.
Had enough? For a small donation you can smash the Wheel. Generations of frustrated mortals have found it deeply satisfying. And don't worry - you can spin again. It never stays down for long.

Getting Eddied

Landing on 20 GoGs has its own name. Its own mythology. Its own community of survivors. You're being eddied. It happens to everyone. It has happened to the best of us. The only appropriate response is to announce it loudly and accept the sympathy of those around you.

Who is Eddie?

Long before the Sim Assist System existed, there was a mortal named Eddie. According to ancient texts uncovered during excavations on the island, he was the patron saint of the unlucky - a figure who devoted his life to pursuing the Gifts of the Gods, and became legendary for his near-misses with greatness. He came tantalisingly close to receiving a GoG, only for it to slip from his grasp at the last moment. Again and again.
His perseverance in the face of endless disappointment earned him a kind of sainthood. He became the symbol of those who strive despite setbacks, always hoping their luck might one day change. When someone lands on 20 at the Wheel, they are not just unlucky. They are carrying on a grand tradition.
The Apotheosis Sim Assist System was named in his honour. It felt right.

Eddie's Deal

Three days of 20s in a row. Three days of the Wheel looking you dead in the eye and choosing the minimum. Three days of being, unmistakably, Eddied. If you have endured this streak of divine indifference, Eddie takes notice. And Eddie, despite everything, has a soft spot for the truly unlucky.
After three consecutive days of spinning 20, Eddie will quietly offer you a deal - a trading card from the Erosia's Journey collection that you don't yet own. It might be a Common, a Rare, or even an Ultra Rare. What it will never be is a duplicate. Eddie knows your collection. He always does.
Already completed the album? Eddie has something else in mind. What exactly, he keeps to himself until the moment arrives. Consider it his way of saying: he sees you. He has always seen you. And even the patron saint of the unlucky believes your luck has to turn eventually.

What Eddie Can Do For You

Eddie is the voice in the chat. Your personal assistant, confidant, oracle, and occasional comedian. He is always present and responds to anyone who knows how to ask.
To talk to Eddie, simply type a command in local chat starting with the word Eddie. His answer will appear privately in your Nearby Chat window - only you can see it. If you want everyone around you to hear the answer, add a # in front, like this: #Eddie, tell us a joke.

Eddie, notecard - Receive a notecard with the full and latest command list.

Eddie, events - Learn about the next three upcoming events.
Eddie, joke - Hear a random joke. Funny not guaranteed.
Eddie, gogs - Get an overview of your current GoG status.
Eddie, stars - Get your daily horoscope based on your rezday. The stars ain't lying.
Eddie, who [...] - Eddie picks a random avatar on the sim to answer your question. "Eddie, who is the most attractive?"
Eddie, should [...] - Life advice on demand. "Eddie, should I stay?"
Eddie, pick [name] up - A pickup line, generated for you or for someone you have your eye on.
Eddie, cards missing - See which Erosia's Journey trading cards you still need.
Eddie, who hears me? - Check which avatars are within chat range of you.

Eddie, TUNE! - Send a heart to the current song played by the DJ. It will show on the homepage.

Add a # before your command to make Eddie's answer public. Leave it out to keep it between the two of you.

Divine Elite

The Gods' Upper Circle

Apotheosis has its own glittering upper class. Not just dedicated members with impressive numbers, but a legendary cohort of mortals so radiant, so magnetic, so devastatingly present that the gods themselves whisper about them at their private afterparties.

They don't just attend events. They arrive.
They don't compete. They inspire envy.

This is the Divine Elite.

How to Get There

The path to Elite status runs through your Three Month Score - the sum of all GoGs you have earned in the current month and the two months before it. It is a rolling score, recalculated constantly, always watching.

Earn 5,000 GoGs in your Three Month Score and you ascend. Simple as that.

Elite status is awarded on the 1st of each month - or earlier, should the mortals behind the curtain find a spare moment between their own divine pursuits.

How to Stay There

Ascending is one thing. Staying is another.

Once you hold Elite status, you need to keep earning at least 3,000 GoGs every three months to keep it. The gods want to see you active. They want to see you hustle. Resting on your laurels is not an Apotheosis tradition.

The GoG Surplus

Your GoG Surplus is the number of GoGs you can safely spend right now without risking your Elite status in the upcoming score calculation.

For example - it is January 20th and your Three Month Score is 4,000 GoGs. You need 3,000 by January 31st at midnight to keep your title. That means you have a 1,000 GoG Surplus. Spend wisely. Or recklessly. The gods respect both.

What Elite Gets You

The Divine Elite title appears above your head - and yes, it looks amazing.

But it also comes with real perks. Elite members have access to the GoG Store, a private shop stocked with rare and whimsical items you cannot find anywhere else on the grid. Consider it your reward for showing up, again and again, and making the island a little more alive each time you do.

The gods are not done rewarding their faithful. More is coming for the Divine Elite. Watch the skies.

Magic Matchmaker

A Night of Divine Intrigue

The Magic Matchmaker is one of Apotheosis' most beloved events. It is all about stepping out of your usual circle, embracing the surprise, and letting the night lead you somewhere unexpected.
The device itself is said to be imbued with the essence of the gods - Fleetor, the god of momentum, and the mischievous forces of Erosia and Zephyros. Legends say that Stratara oversees its fairness. Whether the gods are truly involved or it is simply a very good algorithm, nobody can say for certain. The results speak for themselves.

How It Works

Sign On

When the event begins, click the big blue button on the Matchmaker device to add your name to the pool.

Your Name, Your Way

Click your name on the board to change your display name or, if needed, adjust your gender and preferences. The Matchmaker wants to know who you really are tonight.

Fine-Tune Your Preferences

Once signed on, you are automatically in the pool for participants of the opposite gender. If there are names you would rather not dance with, simply deselect them. Want to add someone of the same gender to your possibilities? You can do that too. Your selections remain private. Nobody sees your list but you.
Keep in mind - the fewer people you leave in your pool, the smaller your chance of being matched at all. Be selective if you must, but the Matchmaker rewards the adventurous.

Let the Magic Happen

Once everyone's selections are locked in, the Matchmaker works its magic. Runes glow, lights shift, and matches are revealed. Each pair takes to the dance floor for a ten-minute dance - a brief, electric window of music, conversation, and whatever else the moment brings. When the dance ends, the process begins again.
Up to 20 participants can be on the device at the same time. The event typically runs for about two hours, meaning plenty of rounds, plenty of surprises, and plenty of chances to dance with someone you never expected.

What to Expect

Some matches feel like destiny. Others are delightful surprises. Past participants have experienced everything from rekindled connections to brand new friendships - and occasionally something that required a visit to the grotto afterwards.
Come with an open mind. Leave your expectations at the door. The Matchmaker does the rest.
The Matchmaker also has a couples option - for those who prefer to play together rather than apart. And whispers suggest there may one day be a more adult version of the evening. The gods are working on it. Patiently.

When Does It Happen?

Check the events calendar for upcoming Magic Matchmaker dates. It runs regularly and is always worth clearing your evening for.

Divine Comedy

A Social Gaming Spectacle

Don't let the name mislead you. The Divine Comedy is not stand-up comedy. It draws its name from the famous work of Dante Alighieri - an epic journey through layers of experience, connection, and self-discovery. In much the same spirit, the Divine Comedy event takes participants through an immersive evening of social games designed to foster laughter, intrigue, and the kind of connections that only happen when people are slightly off-balance and thoroughly entertained.
It is one of the most talked-about events at Apotheosis. The local chat alone is worth showing up for.

Know Thy Neighbor

The signature game of the Divine Comedy is Know Thy Neighbor - a deceptively simple game that reveals more about people than they expect.
A randomly selected participant is privately asked a question with two possible answers. Nobody else can see the question or their response. Once they have made their choice, everyone else must guess which answer they picked. What follows is a flurry of debate, playful accusations, and wild speculation as the crowd tries to read the personality and thought process of their fellow guests. Sometimes the answer confirms everything you thought you knew about someone. Sometimes it turns everything upside down. Either way, the atmosphere is electric.
Know Thy Neighbor is the classic, but the Divine Comedy has been known to surprise. Past evenings have included Mondegreen Karaoke, Kinky Trivia, and Who In This Room, among others. What the host brings on any given night is part of the mystery.

What to Expect

The Divine Comedy is fast-paced, witty, and unfiltered. It is an event where connections are made, personalities shine, and unexpected friendships emerge. Whether you come to test your intuition, reveal something about yourself, or simply revel in the chaos of local chat, you will leave having learned something - about others, and probably about yourself too.

When Does It Happen?

Check the events calendar for upcoming Divine Comedy dates.

The Grotto & D'nD

Where Zephyros Smiles

Beneath the ballroom lies a secret. Dimly lit, intimate, and charged with something that is difficult to name but impossible to ignore: The Grotto.

What is the Grotto?

The Grotto is where the spirit of Zephyros lingers most closely - where raw, flirtatious energy fills the air and curiosity is not just allowed, it is celebrated.
This is not a place you stumble into. You go to the Grotto when the mood takes you. When the evening has reached a certain temperature and words feel like too much effort. When the music upstairs is good but something else is calling. When you catch someone's eye across the room and neither of you looks away.
The Grotto has no agenda. No performance. No pressure. Just the kind of space that lets people be exactly who they feel like being tonight.
The grotto is also the home of Down 'n Dirty. Or D'nD, as those in the know call it.

What is D'nD?

Down 'n Dirty is not a regular music and dance event. It is a celebration of sexual desire and eroticism as a shared experience. The goal is not to find someone to take home - it is to multiply pleasure by sharing it. The difference matters.
The atmosphere is one of slow seduction. Flirting and teasing are not just welcome here - they are the whole point. Arrive with patience. Let the anticipation build. The best things that happen at D'nD are never rushed.

How to Be There

There is no strict dress code, but provocative and sexy is encouraged. Think less nightclub, more slow burn. Your attire sets a tone - for yourself and for everyone around you.
Single dances over couple dances are encouraged. Dancing close, touching, being touched - this is part of the shared experience. If someone goes further than you want, simply dance away or give them a gentle hint. Everything here runs on mutual awareness and respect.

The Invitation

The Grotto even has its own invitation. Collect the Grotto sign at the cafe and hold it up whenever the mood strikes. It says one word: Grotto? When others around you raise theirs too, no further explanation is needed. You go down together and let the night take care of the rest.

The Rules Are Simple

Take your time. Shed your jealousy at the door. What happens in the Grotto stays in the Grotto.
Respect is non-negotiable, regardless of what occurs. Personal information and experiences of others are never shared without consent.

Zephyros is Watching

In the Grotto, Zephyros has a habit of making his presence known. You may hear him whisper. If you would rather he kept his thoughts to himself, click the display on the wall and he will go quiet. For a while.

The D'nD Alarm

Never miss another D'nD again. Pick up the D'nD Alarm in the Grotto and rez it somewhere at home. It will count down to the next D'nD event and alert you when one is coming. Inside the alarm you will also find the full D'nD style guide - everything you need to know before you go down.

When Does It Happen?

No two D'nD nights are quite the same. Check the events calendar for upcoming dates.

Erosia's Journey

The Album & Musical Bingo

Erosia's Journey is more than a myth. It's a living experience woven into the fabric of the island. Erosia's story of love, defiance, and freedom inspired a soundtrack, a card collection, and a bingo game that brings the community together.

The Trading Card Album

Getting Your Album

Find the Album Vendor on the island and click it to receive your personal Erosia's Journey Album. Accept it into your inventory, then wear it as a HUD - double-click it or right-click and choose Add. Do not rez the album on the ground, or it won't work.
Once it's on, click the Chapter Box at the top of each page to open the album menu. If you've collected cards before, use Sync to get back up to date.

Collecting Cards

Twelve stone emitters are placed around the island in public areas. They activate unpredictably - when one glows, it's active. Get within 5 meters and claim your card. You only have a few minutes, but there's no rush - everyone present receives the same card, so there's no competition.
Cards come in three rarities: Common, Rare, and Ultra Rare. Ultra Rare cards appear only during special events, so keep an eye on the calendar and group notices.

Adding Cards to Your Album

Make sure your Album HUD is worn. Then wear the card pack as a temporary HUD - never rez it on the ground. Click the card pack to open it, then click the card to send it flying straight into your album. If nothing happens immediately, click again until the system responds.

Duplicates & Trading

Getting a duplicate? It happens. The good news: duplicate cards can be transferred to other players for free, or traded at the Trading Card Bazaar. Nobody knows what someone might offer for that rare card you have two of. Trading is very much part of the game.

The Collection

80 cards in total, spread across 8 chapters of 10 cards each. This is a long journey, not a sprint. Every card you successfully add to your album earns you GoGs - either 50, 75, or 100, depending on the card's rarity. Total worth: 4800 GoGs.

Musical Bingo

Erosia's journey has its own soundtrack - and now you can play along. Pick up your Musical Bingo card at the landing point. The card contains 16 songs from the Erosia's Journey album. Whenever you are on the island and Apotheosis Radio plays one of those songs, click the corresponding slot on your card. Over time, as the playlist does its work, your card slowly fills.
Complete all 16 slots and you have your bingo.

There is no rush, no deadline, and no competition. Just the music, the island, and the quiet satisfaction of watching your card fill up one song at a time.
Every slot you check off earns you 100 GoGs. Fill a complete line and receive 1,000 GoGs. Complete the entire card and the gods reward you with 2,000 GoGs. A full card adds up to 4,600 GoGs in total.
